Join us for a lively discussion:" Collaborating for the Kids" moderated by Steve Gimpel, LMF. Joined by a variety of professionals involved in the parenting time process, Steve will field questions from the audience and facilitate discussion on how we can make the process more efficient for and supportive of families struggling with parenting time issues. Back by popular demand! Three Judges from Denver Metro area Courts will offer a perspective from the bench on how professional collaboration impacts the resolution of parenting time issues. Moderated by Robert Smith., J.D.

     1. Dynamics of High Conflict Divorce

This workshop focuses on how inappropriate behaviors, legal maneuvers, and other issues may have a direct or indirect effect on children caught in conflictual divorce or custody proceedings. Presented by Lon Kopit, PsyD.

    2. Co-parenting/Shared Parenting

How can we facilitate healthy co-parenting relationships? This workshop will include ideas about how courts, attorneys, CFIs, CLRs and others can work together with supervised parenting time centers. Presented by Shirley Thomas, PhD .

    3. The ABC’s of Child Development and Supervised Parenting Time

This workshop focuses on child development specifically as it relates to children in supervised parenting time. Presented by Diane Baird, LCSW.

4.  Supervised Parenting Time 101

Want to know how to start a supervised parenting time program? Then this is the workshop for you! We will review the many options for creating and growing a program, including how to collaborate with faith based communities. Presented by The Child Parent Coalition.
